Bhavna Kapoor is a holistic health coach, a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (New York) and a Whole foods Plant based chef. She also hosts a cookery show ‘Healthy Vegan Cooking’ on #Fame Food. She is a featured health coach on 94.3 Radio One, Mumbai. She is also a featured health writer on Times of India, Mid-Day and The Week.
She integrates her expertise in the field of nutrition, cooking and Iyengar Yoga to empower busy professionals reach their health goals such as losing weight, reversing diabetes, improving energy levels and reconnecting to their body’s intuitive wisdom and prevent disease.
Bhavna’s journey of health began with her own health issues. After a decade of working as a media professional, she found that erratic schedules and stress had robbed her of immunity, and left her with severe gastric issues, acidity and sinus.
Being drawn to natural therapies more than a pill for every ill approach, lead her to examine her food choices. Her health issues just melted away by adopting the whole plant based diet. A workshop with SHARAN brought out the dormant chef in her filling her with a complete sense of empowerment! Here, she also learnt that this approach to eating is not just good for health, but for the environment as well as animals. This interconnectedness completely convinced her that she is on the right path, and led her to take up health coaching professionally.
Having lead an extremely busy life as a media professional, her passion is to make it as easy for busy people to adopt healthier eating and lifestyle habits. Bhavna gives one on one/group coaching sessions in person and on Skype.
