Date Paste (raw)

Soak dates in water overnight or for several hours – until they plump up and have absorbed some of the liquid.
Process the dates with the liquid in a food processor, until smooth. Transfer to an airtight glass or stainless-steel jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 7-10 days. Always use a clean, dry spoon to remove the date paste from the jar.
