Papaya Smoothie with a Zing

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peeled and chopped papaya
  • 1 cup kinnow, orange or sweet lime juice
  • ½ a green chilli
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
This is an unusual smoothie that is not very sweet and has a surprising zing from the green chilli.
Blend the green chilli with the fruit juice in a blender until smooth. Add the papaya and blend further. Add lemon juice (optional) and blend again. Pour into glasses and serve. Serves 2
