Raw Chocolate Cake

For the Cake

Combine the walnuts, cacao powder and salt in a food processor, until well mixed. Add the dates. Shape into two stackable cakes of desired shape and keep aside.

For the Frosting

Take the date paste in the food processor. Add the avocado and process until smooth. Add the cacao powder and process until smooth. You may need to add a small amount of water if the mixture is not smooth enough.

To serve, frost the top of one of the cakes with half the frosting. Stack the second cake on top and frost the top and the sides. Serve immediately, or store in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to firm up.

Note

This recipe uses many nuts. Please keep your nut limit in mind if you are working on disease reversal.
