Ingredients
- 1 cup curry leaves
- ½ cup fresh coriander leaves
- ¼ cup mint leaves
- 4 – 5 spring onions
- ¼” pc ginger
- Unrefined salt to taste
- ¾ tsp date paste
- 4 – 5 whole green peppercorns (use black peppercorns if the green ones are not available)
- 1 green chilli
- ¾ tsp lemon juice
Not exactly his tin of spinach but just as good for your health.
Wash the greens well. Clean the ginger. Grind all the ingredients (except lemon juice) together to a smooth paste, adding enough water to bring it to a chutney/ thick sauce consistency. Add lemon juice, mix well and serve with dosas, idlis, chapatti or rice.
